Our Mission
Today, the ministry of Lighthouse Catheral has flourished while providing the spiritual needs and nurturing the homeless community of Pittsburgh and providing treatment programs to individuals suffering from drug and alcohol addictions and other strongholds. As the ministry continues strongly today, one focus at the forefront is the construction of a new building that will be erected on the same grounds as Lighthouse Catheral. This building, although not yet officially named, will be a two-story building utilized as a dedicated center for the treatment of drug and alcohol addictions. The building will be completed, established, and operated under the Lighthouse Memorial Christian Center (LMCC), a 501©(3) non-profit organization which was initially established at the inception of Lighthouse Catheral. This new facility will work in conjunction with Dr. W. John Monsour from Greensburg, PA to provide a treatment program for individuals suffering from drug and alcohol addictions and other strongholds. The program, among many other initiatives, will follow a 12-step process of treatment.
